WESTFIELD CENTER, OH - Mary Christian has been named executive, claims staff operations, at Westfield Insurance. In this capacity, she provides strategic direction and leadership for claims activities including, but not limited to, enterprise-wide projects focused on achieving corporate goals and key business objectives that drive positive financial results.

Christian joined Westfield in 2001 with more than 15 years of experience. Most recently, she was the director of claims training and development where she was responsible for the development and management of the claims department's continuing education programs, employee development program, strategic communications and performance management.

Christian holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Baldwin Wallace College, a bachelor's degree from Ohio State University, and has earned an American Production Inventory Control certification and a Legal Principles Claim Specialist designation.
