WESTFIELD CENTER, Ohio – Westfield Insurance has promoted Martha Oakes to senior executive of commercial lines and Dave Peterson to senior executive of personal lines/small business accounts.

In her new role, Oakes leads commercial lines underwriting for Westfield operations in 17 states, including traditional package and middle market accounts. Oakes has 20 years of underwriting experience with Westfield and most recently lead the successful organization and launch of the small business accounts (SBA) division.

Peterson steps up to lead a newly combined business unit that is responsible for personal lines and small business accounts, which includes small commercial package and BOP business. In this position, Peterson oversees Westfield’s two largest segments of business based on policy count. Peterson, a former commercial lines regional executive, has been on special assignment during the past year.
